The Concept
The project in Marina de la Torre (Mojácar) was conceived as a completely new interior design. For María José and Ermes , the strategic objective was not simply to equip a kitchen, but to plan the social heart of their residence. Since there was no pre-existing structure to constrain the design, we were able to create an open-plan space that takes full advantage of the Almería coast's solar orientation.
KUALIA 's intervention focused on a design capable of sculpting the clarity of the surroundings over the nobility of the oak and the silky smoothness of the Silestone. The objective was to create an uninterrupted link that embraces the serenity of the interior and the immensity of the horizon, transforming the entry of natural light into a constructive resource that defines the volumes and textures of the space.
The Reality
The execution of this new kitchen is governed by the KUALIA process , where high manufacturing technology is integrated into an aesthetic of " Warm Minimalism ":
-
Saitra Technical Furniture: We structured the space using a system of floor-to-ceiling columns in European oak . This technical solution allows us to conceal storage and appliances, maintaining a clean, uncluttered look. The absence of handles reinforces the architectural continuity of the furniture.
-
High-Performance Surfaces: The island and work areas feature Cosentino Deskton Neural countertops. The suede finish was selected for its low reflectivity and matte texture, allowing for controlled absorption of natural light, preventing glare, and providing an organic feel.
The end result is a high-end space where construction techniques serve livability. We have succeeded in making architecture and the environment converge into a functional, sophisticated, and lasting solution.
