The Concept
The starting point was a functional but visually cluttered space, with a layout that fragmented the social area and limited the potential of the Mediterranean light. Kieran and Mandy sought to transcend conventional aesthetics to create a home with "soul" where the transition between culinary preparation and relaxation would be seamless.
K U A L I A's challenge was to redefine the interior architecture to eliminate visual noise. The driving concept was "Warm Minimalism": a quest for formal purity without sacrificing texture and emotion, integrating cutting-edge storage technology with tactile materials.
The technical intervention (construction and structure)
Applying our "turnkey" methodology, the transformation began with a strategic demolition phase to free up the floor plan:
- Opening Up Spaces: The partitions separating the kitchen from the living room were removed and replaced with a kitchen island that acts as a circulation axis and social gathering point.
- Integration of Installations: The water and HVAC systems were relocated to conceal the electric water heater and the pipes that were visible in the original state, achieving a completely clean and uncluttered look.
The Reality: high-Eend materials and finishes
The result is a cohesive ecosystem where every technical detail meets a standard of excellence:
- Saitra Technical Furniture: Floor-to-ceiling storage system in natural oak finish, with gold handle systems to add a touch of elegance.
- Cutting-Edge Surfaces: Dekton Entzo 20mm countertop, which provides sustainability and exceptional resistance.
- Architectural Lighting: Three layers of light (general, spot and indirect using sensorized LEDs) while maintaining our standard warm temperature.
- The Sensory Touch: High-density linen textiles and an earthy color palette create a haven of quiet luxury.
